From the Principal

Welcome to the 2011-2012 school year at Willow Ridge Elementary School!  We hope you are excited about the coming school year.  Our entire staff is looking forward to working with your child(ren) to make this an educationally enjoyable and meaningful year.  I am looking forward to seeing returning students from last year and meeting and welcoming new students to Willow Ridge. We expect around 510 students to fill our classrooms this year.  My name is Dr. Mike Johnson and I am the building principal.  We have two office secretaries, Mrs. Leesha Lee and Mrs. Julie Douglas.

In order for your child(ren) to enroll in school, we will need the following:

•    Enrollment Forms (available on District home page - Parent/Student Resources tab)
•    State Certified Birth Certificate
•    Immunization Record
•    Two pieces of proof of residency (these can include a property tax statement, cable bill, phone bill, a voided check – something that shows your name and address.  We cannot accept a driver’s license or voter registration card).

Classes are scheduled from 8:45 – 3:48 PM for students in grades 1st – 6th.
