Welcome!

A new school year presents opportunities for various new beginnings and I am thrilled to have been chosen as the new Superintendent for Grand Ledge Public Schools:  It is an honor and a privilege to serve the students, parents, staff and community of such a remarkable district.  I am committed to carrying on the tradition of excellence established within the Grand ledge Public Schools.

As the district continues to work within the budget constraints established by the State of Michigan, we must concentrate on the processes that spur continuing advancement:  evaluating what we have, determining what we can do to improve, and identifying what we need to make those improvements.  

We are proud of what we achieve in Grand Ledge – in our classrooms, in our offices and on our playing fields and stages – but these achievements are not due to complacency and satisfaction with the status quo.  Grand Ledge Public Schools is what it is today because of the dedicated staff and “A Community Committed to Excellence”.   The district continues to work to ensure every student is provided an exceptional education to help them reach their true potential. 

Again, I’m excited to serve Grand Ledge Public Schools and look forward to getting to know the Grand Ledge community.
