Welcome!

This department works with district communications, community services, community education and pupil accounting.

The primary communications and community services functions include:

•    Enhance positive relations and support two-way communication between Grand Ledge Public Schools and its stakeholders.

•    Inform the community about programs, policies, and other areas of information about Grand Ledge Public Schools to maximize collaboration for student achievement.

•    Promote Grand Ledge Public Schools as a professional, responsive and efficient organization committed to student achievement.

•    Provide media relations, written content for publications, Insider newsletter, Channel 21 programming, social media content and marketing strategies.

  • Coordinate the Community Education Program to provide enriching opportunities to the community.


The primary pupil accounting functions include:

•    Provide guidance on pupil membership requirements and count procedures required by the Office of State Aid and School Finance.

•    Ensure pupil accounting compliance with revisions to current statutory acts including the State School Aid Act, the Revised School Code, Attorney General Opinions, and additional clarifications of current Department guidance and policy.

•    Enroll new students during summer months and coordinate the district’s Schools of Choice and Tuition programs.
