Instant Alert Calling System
Grand Ledge Public Schools operates an Instant Alert calling system.  This system allows the district to contact each student, and employee, at home to alert them to delays, cancellations or any important building/district information.  As winter weather moves in, school delays and cancellations will be communicated through the Instant Alert system by a phone call at 5:45 a.m.  It is imperative to keep your contact information up-to-date with your child's school (or if an employee, with Human Resources). 
"Proficiency" on State-Required Tests has New Definition

Checkpoints Teen Driving Safety Program

The safety of our children is of concern to all of us as car crashes remain the #1 cause of death for teens.  To respond to this tragic, yet preventable, public health problem, the University of Michigan Transportation Research Instsitute and the Michigan Department of Community Health have asked Michigan Schools to help promote the web-based Checkpoints Teen Driving Safety Program so parents can be reached with life-saving information about teen driving safety.  To learn more about the program, look for the link under the Parent/Student Resources icon on our homepage, or click the link below:
