Mrs. Wacyk currently serves as the communications director for the Michigan Association of School Administrators. She and her husband, Mike, have lived in the district since 1990 and have graduated four children from Grand Ledge Public Schools. She previously served on the Board of Education from 2001 through 2005 as trustee and secretary. Since moving to the district, Mrs. Wacyk has always been an active volunteer within the Grand Ledge Public Schools and since 1998 has served as a member of the Grand Ledge Area Alliance, a business-school-community based partnership. Linda served on the Grand Ledge Board of Education from 2001 - 2005 and was re-elected in 2008.
Mrs. Pierson is an Administrative Law Specialist with the Office of Tax Policy, Michigan Department of Treasury. She is an attorney and a certified public accountant. Sara earned her Bachelor of Arts in economics from the University of Michigan and her Juris Doctorate from Northeastern University (Boston). Sara and her husband, David, returned to the Grand Ledge area in 1990, but her family history in the community is extensive. Along with Sara, three generations of her family have graduated from Grand Ledge Schools including her parents, her nine brothers and sisters and her three children. She has also served on the Clinton County Board of Commissioners, Public Health Board, the Tri-County Mental Health Board, and Capital Region Foundation Board and was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels for 10 years. Sara has served on the Grand Ledge Board of Education since 2002.
Ms. Case holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Western Michigan University. A native of the Upper Peninsula, Lindsay now reside in Delta Township with her two sons. In addition to holding staff positions on political campaigns from the state legislature to the White House, Lindsay has also enjoy substitute teaching. She is a 2008 graduate of the Michigan Political Leadership Program, a multi-partisan program which engages 24 individuals from across the state in a public policy and leadership curriculum at Michigan State University. Lindsay began serving on the Grand Ledge Board of Education in 2009.
Mrs. Mulvenna holds a Bachelor of Science degree from DePaul University (Chicago). She has an extensive background in finance, banking, tax sheltered investments and real estate. Kim and her husband, Mark, have lived in the district since 1994 and have a son that graduated from Grand Ledge Schools. She has served as secretary and vice president of the Willow Ridge Elementary School PTA and as a member and Board Representative of the Grand Ledge Education Foundation Board of Directors. Kim has served on the Grand Ledge Board of Education since 2001.
Mr. Bennett currently works as an instructor and Course Coordinator with Michigan Virtual University. He earned his Bachelor of Arts and Masters in education from Western Michigan University. Jay is a former middle school and high school special education teacher. He and his wife, Angie, have lived in the Grand Ledge area for almost eight years. Their two children currently attend Grand Ledge Public Schools. Mr. Bennett has previously served as the Vice-president of the Willow Ridge PTA and has served on several school related boards and advisory committees. Mr. Bennett was elected to his first term on the Board of Education in 2011.
Mr. Boucher has been an enlisted member with the Michigan Department of State Police since 1998 and currently serves in their Government Relations Office. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from Michigan State University and his Masters in Public Administration from Western Michigan. Brody and his wife, Hayden (a teacher with GLPS), have lived in the Grand Ledge area since 1999 and have two elementary age sons. Mr. Boucher was elected to his first term on the Board of Education in 2011.
